Kindle Nation began with the Founding Readers who owned Kindles, loved their ebooks, and had the Kindle Store as their private domain. Over the last 12 months, the second wave of settlers began arriving, thanks to Amazon's apps for reading eBooks on PCs, iPads, Android smartphones--all the most popular devices.
Get ready, Founding Readers, for more immigrants teeming to our shores. Not only are Kindle devices selling like mad (my local Staple's ran out!), but so are iPads, iPhones, Android smartphones, etc. If you know someone (perhaps even yourself?) shopping for an iPad, Apple celebrates Black Friday with price cuts. Today Only!
Apple offers iPads at $41 off the usual price in its online store. The sale lasts for one day only, so if you have an iPad and want accessories, or if you want an iPad for yourself or to give as a gift, this is the day to take a look. (Prices for iPads in the Amazon store were higher this morning, but it's worth checking as they day goes on.)
